Unexpected Consequences pt5

Mias followed the fully armoured man. All he carried was a pistol. The 3 of them were walking to the edge of the platform when the man spoke, "Do either of you require any kind of medical treatment? If so I will take you to the medical bay." Mias heard the hatred filled grumble from the space marine, "I just need to charge my suit." The man spoke calmly, "Alright, we will take you to our top scientist. How about you?" the man indicated his thumb towards Mias, without even looking. Mias replyed, "No, I am fine. My suit has it's own way to charge it's battery." As they continued Mias couldn't help but feel the Space Marine's gaze fall on him and their guard. They reach a bunker. Their guard spoke, "This is our science lab. Our top scientist will speak to you when he is done looking at what you released onto our planit Vigus Nimal Deagle." As they were right infront of the doorway into the bunker, guarded by two more fully armoured men, the Space Marine spoke in pure rage, "How dare you accuse me of releasing those Chaos abominations onto the planet! They got there when our forces were fighting each other! If you do not know what has happened there then you must be blind! Because it was your system that called for us to help you against this xeno scum!" Mias quickly remembered the battle between his great empire against the Space Marines. How could these people not know about the battle? The entire system was ingulfed in battle, how did they not have anyone fighting his empire's forces? Before Mias could think even more the guard spoke back to the Space Marine, still retaining the calm in his voice, "I don't remember such a call! The day we call for aid from strangers is the day the Republic falls into civil war!" The Space Marine spoke back with even more rage, "Republic?! You have created a republic against his most holy Emperor?! You should be shot and burned!" The man spoke back, losing his calmness, "I do not know an emperor! All we know is that the Empress saved man kind from death and distruction and brought almost every race under one banner!" Mias stood there in confusion, Empress? Since when did the Imperium have an Empress? Mias was waiting for the Space Marine to say something, but he never spoke. He just stood there looking at the man. He finaly spoke, "Stop your accursed mind games heretic! I am a Space Marine of the holy Emperor! I will not surcome to your mind tricks!" The man spoke back with confusion and frusturation in his voice, "You cannot be a Space Marine! I am a Space Marine!" The Space Marine stood there in, what seemed like, shock. Just then a voice came from the door, "What is all the yelling about! I demand an explanation!" Mias turned to see the figure. The man, who said he was a Space Marine, said, "This is our Top Tau Scientist. His name is Tungle." Mias just staired. Were in the name of the Greater Good are they?

I hope this will surprise some of you. I had fun thinking about how you would react to this. This is just the begining! I have a lot more typing to do.
